Protecting maritime operations through intelligence
Every maritime charge, proven against the evidence
PortShield is an intelligent system for port operators, freight forwarders and oil & gas companies. It brings great value to your operations, minimizes risk and saves you money by checking every shipment against the evidence and showing you what doesn't match.
Request a pilotHow it works
Three records of one shipment, compared line by line
A charge can look right on paper and still disagree with what happened at the berth or the gate. PortShield puts those records side by side.
Bring in the records
Gate events, AIS positions and shipping documents, in English or Arabic.
Reconcile the timeline
The demurrage engine lines up the dates from all three sources and finds where they disagree.
Put a number on it
Each mismatch gets a value in money and an advisory risk score, so the largest exposure is reviewed first.
Your team decides
People review the evidence and choose what to do. PortShield records the advice and takes no action.
For example
An invoice bills 7 days of demurrage. The gate and vessel records support 4. PortShield flags the 3-day difference and its value for your team to review.

One view of revenue, risk and compliance
Arabic documents and regional tariff regimes are part of the design from the start.
Demurrage reconciliation
Compare charges with gate data, AIS data and documents to see which days the evidence supports.
AIS vessel tracking
Follow vessels with ETA and ETD in one place, next to the shipment they carry.
Document validation
Check shipping documents against each other and flag fields that conflict before they become disputes.
Advisory risk score
Rank shipments with a quantified score that shows the rules behind it, so reviewers can follow the reasoning.
Advisory only
PortShield advises. Your people decide.
The platform flags and quantifies. It has no automated action paths, so it cannot hold a container or reject a document. Every decision stays with your team.

About PortShield
A Qatar-based company, built for Gulf trade
PortShield was founded in 2025 by Ghayah Alshatti and Alanoud Althani. We help maritime organizations reduce operational risk, starting from a simple idea: every maritime charge should be backed by evidence.
Each shipment leaves a trail across gate systems, vessel tracking data and shipping documents. When those records disagree, companies lose money, time and confidence. We bring them together and turn them into clear advice that teams can act on.
Our main office is in Qatar, and our system is designed for the Gulf from the start, with Arabic and English documents and regional tariff regimes. It is built for port operators, freight forwarders and oil & gas companies across the GCC.
Our mission
To protect maritime operations through intelligence.
Our vision
A Gulf where every maritime charge is clear, fair and backed by evidence.
What we stand for
Evidence first
We base every finding on the records behind it, so you can see why it was raised.
People decide
Our system advises and your team stays in control of every decision.
Built for the Gulf
We design around the region's documents, languages and tariffs.
Leadership
Ghayah is an IT operations and systems expert who has helped organizations reduce operational risk. She manages business process management (BPM) systems. She founded PortShield to bring that experience to maritime operations.
